Hamilton khaki pilot pioneer, worn on a single pass seatbelt strap, today with a well fitted grey hoodie, well fitting and well worn jeans, and basic grey canvas sneakers. Couldn't be more basic bastard if I tried.
Nice. I was tempted by that one but already have a Sistem51, which is a big watch (though very wearable because it’s all plastic), and I think the 1986 would wear bigger than mine because it’s a simpler design than mine.
Everything hodinkee does sells out in a few seconds. You must have been quick on the draw to actually get that.
Yeah I caught an Insta post from Worn&Wound about it just prior to 10AM and hopped right on it. Last year I kind of slept on the Blue Edition and had to pay above retail to get one from eBay.

How long have you had yours? I've always wondered how well these plastic one-and-done automatics hold up over time. Given their price point I suppose a couple of years worth would be a good enough ROI.
I rushed in on this one since it's like a pseudo-birth year watch for me (been sort of looking for a 1986 DJ but haven't had anything that caught my eye).
Decided the smart watch life wasn’t for me and picked up this Casio a few weeks ago (after seeing on a post on the site) to get used to a traditional watch and test drive some features (day/date). Really enjoying it so far, I like the small color details more than I expected.
