Yeah, thanks. Depending on the light, they look solid, reflective or skeletonized.

Either this excellent High-Beat Miyota movement is especially magnetism-prone, or it needs to be regulated. I've been wearing it a lot lately, and it's running way fast again. I demagnetized it this morning, and I'm going to keep it wound for a week or so to see what's up.

Running the watch over the de-magnetizer fixed it - running right on time for a week straight. It's strange that only this watch in my collection seems to be getting magnetized. 3 times in a couple of years. Looking at where my left wrist lands, I wonder if it's from the magnetic money clip in my pocket?

Thanks much . For those interested, since it's a little small by current standards, some online searching can turn up some very good deals on used Classiques. Mine is a simple manual-wind and has been rock solid for many years. And love the GMT combo!
