[MENTION=15630]Loafer28[/MENTION] loving the look of that Rolex! New acquisition? What year is the watch?
I’ve owned it for a few years. It’s a ‘99. It was originally a Black bezel, but I brought it to an AD and had them install a Pepsi only 3 years ago. It is amazing how quickly the bezel has faded.
OK, cool. I am using IMGUR to host but the message board software that dappered uses does the IMG tags a little differently I think.
In imgur, the only way I can get to work is to right click 'show image in new tab/window' and copy the address from that line. The bb tags don't work for me.

99 hey? Nice. Were they still making the dial with tritium? I'm a sucker for the faded lume on dials. It was always one of the requirements for me when I was researching watches. Some might say why buy a watch that is showing signs of age, but for me a nice patina looks nice on an older watch.

It’s Luminova.
It would have been nice to pick up a tritium dial, but i wasn’t out searching for my grail, it found me. My wife was perusing a Mom’s Facebook trading site and said “hey isn’t this the watch that you always wanted? Is that a good price?” After reeling my tongue back in my mouth, I immediately had her post that we were interested. Not trusting that it wasn’t fake, I met this sweet Mom with two kids in tow at a jeweler to open the watch and confirm that it was genuine.
