[MENTION=15867]carlitos[/MENTION] I hear you on the whole date thing. I have several automatic watches with a date window. Quite often when I decide to wear the watch I won't bother setting the date. I can't see the date without my glasses on anyway.
Agreed! I often opt for a simple 3-hander for that exact reason

Thanks - it appears busy at first glance, but didn't take too long to get used to. As a retrograde, the seconds hand at 6 moves constantly from left to right and then flips back to zero at the end of each minute. Very fun to watch.
The other extra hands, also retrogrades, are the GMT (at 9), day of the week (at 12), and date (at 3). The pushers control the day and date and the extra crown at 10 sets the GMT. Yep, a lot going on but easy to adapt to.
