This wasn’t in your watch Collection post. Is this new?

Every time I get a hankering for a simple vintage Rolex like an Air King or Explorer, I remember I have this Seamaster. Rocking it today on a green tropic-style strap...

First entry into the world of automatics. Got this at a very favorable price on ebay. Love the looks, crossing my fingers it works as it should!

I like it a lot from an aesthetics perspective. I love the dimensions/proportions on the watch. The gloss blue dial is really well done. The lume on it is super bright and seems to last a long time. The movement is ok. I can hear the rotor spinning sometimes. It doesn't feel that nice and smooth when winding the crown. So it all depends what you're looking for.

Thanks! It's a single-pass adjustable length nylon strap from Crown&Buckle, as I personally dislike the double-pass NATO for lifting the watch too much off my tiny wrist.

Not the cheapest nylon strap for sure but I like its construction and adjustability.

Couldn't be bother to re-adjust the watch. At least the day of the week happens to be right?

    Standing in a pool .

Looking at this, I just realized my bezel was off center. Kids must have twisted it while tossing them around 😁
