What watch I wore today
Another vintage Soviet automatic watch, a Raketa Navy piece from the 1980s. This one is a 24 hour watch with rotating inner bezel. It was apparently designed for Soviet officers serving on submarines.
The various colors on the bezel reflect watch shifts. Red being the night watch. The blue hashed lines at 15 min and 45 min represent radio silence periods where one listens for various communications.

I had a 40mm Panerai homage once that I liked quite a bit. I mean, until it fogged up the second day I owned it just from my wrist sweat.
There are some 40mm PAMs but they aren’t super easy to find and they tend to be more expensive than you’d think they should be, considering the cost of entry level 44mm models.Ben
