HELP!! Accidentally burned my hoody

Hey guys, I was using the burning technique to fry some loose threads. I accidentally burned a little piece of my hoodie. I was hoping someone here can help. I know it won't look the same and theres no repairing the burnt mark. I was hoping someone had a solution to make the fabric less shiny after the burn mark. If anyone can help or give advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I tried searching for answers but I couldn't find any.

Depends what it is made of. If it is not a synthetic, try brushing it to make the fibers stand up. If it is whole/part synthetic, that shine is just how it looks now.

Depending on where the burn is, maybe a patch of some sort? If you went to college, maybe the crest of your alma mater.

Buy a new hoodie. Old Navy. Spend less than $30, and don't fret if something happens to it (or if a GF steals it). That system will save you a bunch of grief.
