Red Shirt help

    Hello guys!

My company is making us all wear **SOLID** red shirts for a photo we will be taking. I tried to set the scene to get away with wearing a red white gingham shirt I have but the man wants red. I don't own any solid red shirts because I loathe how they look on me.

Anyone got any suggestions on what shade and where I can get one that just won't be a one time throw away?
You can never have enough shoes

I feel for you. I hate it when the coneheads "down the hall" decide to come up with stuff like this. Off the top of my head I'd say Jcrew or Polo.

      I would propose two options:

      Donate after wearing for photo

      Dye after wearing for photo

(Use "decolorant"/" color stripper" before you dye the shirt.)

How about a red chambray? Won't be stark red, which will help for other use. Not sure if that helps follow the rules. e.g., https://www.ratioclothing.com/produc...ambray-utility

Also, can you wear a polo? If so, I'd just go out and buy a red polo. Not ideal, but you can find plenty to wear that with.

I do wear a lot a variant of red polo.

Can you hit up a thrift store? You could probably pick one up for under $5, then just donate it back as ianmichaelray suggested.

You could also try a long sleeve polo; I have no idea why, but my red short sleeve polo doesn't make it out of the closet very often, but I wear my long sleeve polo in red a couple of times a month. This one is on sale at Kohl's for $18

how about a linen long sleeve. Great for summer with shorts and boat shoes/penny loafers.

Get a job at Target, get the uniform shirt, then put in your notice. You get paid to get your shirt.

If it were me, I'd just find the cheapest, good enough one and get rid of it after.

I don't know how much wiggle room you have in terms of shades of red but I think a slim fit burgundy polo would be something you could wear again. E.g. "pheasant" here: http://www.landsend.com/products/men...27?sku_0=::25O

Or the "serene burgundy" option here: https://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/...3952/93952.jsp

Maybe you can embrace this opportunity to try some red in your wardrobe. I had this shirt https://www.weargustin.com/store/3204 as my first dabble into reds, and it was my favorite shirt until I outgrew it. Still looking for one like it that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (not that that wasn't that expensive because it was a pretty expensive purchase).

Same here. As a Tottenham supporter, wearing red seems sinful.

                              Hi
You can go for other colors of red i.e maroon or light red color.
