Shoe care product for AE rough shoes

Hey fellas. I was thinking of getting this product from Men's Wearhouse along with some shoe trees during their BOGO sale. What would you think about using this for the rough brown AE MacNeil?

@JC - Which Lexol product? Cleaner or Conditioner?

Conditioner. They're new shoes, right? They don't need a cleaning yet

I used all Allen edmonds products on my rough macneils.

          Started with the cleaner/conditioner

          Next the dark brown polish

          finished with natural sole dressing

@runner-guy: I say get Lexol or the AE conditioner/cleaner and natural sole edge dressing. That's the care I use on all my rougher leather shoes from AE and other brands. I only do conditioner -> cream/wax polish on my calfskins.

Here's a top view of the shoes that I use in my regular rotation:

As you can see using just conditioner works great: My brown longwings and black hills only use this method.

I called AE and they recommended either saddle soap or the AE Leather Lotion.

Do not use saddle soap on anything... unless you have a saddle, I guess, but not on shoes

How about using Venetian Shoe Cream?
