@jonATL what is the going rate on that bag? I almost wish it wasn't coach because I'm just looking for something that color that isn't outrageously expensive. Seems like any less expensive bags (if leather) come in only generic black or dark brown. Haven't found any light brown/tan in my search

Did some thrifting a week or so ago. Grabbed an older Banana 3-button cord blazer and a very new Banana slim-fit non-iron spread-collar white dress shirt.
I'm pretty sure the shirt was donated just because it had some stains that the dry cleaner couldn't get out. Pretty easy to fix with bleach though, especially since it is non-iron.

Whoop, got off to a late start and I usually don't find anything thrifting but I scored a $6 YSL blue blazer with patch pockets that will need to be taken in just a little bit. I already have a couple navy blue blazers but I love that this one is YSL and is marked so on all the brass buttons, plus I've really taken to the casual-ness of patch pockets lately. Also got a tan Dior sport coat, likewise with patch pockets, for $10 at Salvation Army. I'm gonna go back Wednesday to see if they still have a 3 piece grey suit that I tried the jacket on and it fit perfect, but was too spendy at $25 - half off would be great.

Vespa: If you like the clothes, that's awesome and you shouldn't let anyone tell you otherwise, but I'd be willing to bet the YSL and the Dior are lower-quality diffusion brands meant for department stores and the like. I'm not trying to say those aren't scores -- because, really, anything at a thrift in your size is a score.

@Jon Hmmmm. I don't really know much about either brand's suiting. I kind of want to think I got a really awesome deal on some 'vintage' blazers and it was from a time before brands did that whole stepped suiting quality, but you are bringing back strong memories from my childhood of those izod lacoste polos. Do you know if the jackets would still sport Made in France labels?
At $6 and $10 each with shoulders that fit, I'm happy with them either way. I'm normally a size 36 jacket so its not often I find any blazers/suits at the thrift store.
