and a few other j press and brooks brothers staples. all super nice, all same size. SCORE. they'll all probably ebay for a few hundred bucks, collectively.
for $10, nearly new. While I've ranted and raved about how I hate tassel loafers in the past, i figured for a whole $8 i'd give it a try. These shoes are Allen Edmonds "Wingham" loafers, which are not made anymore. just have the very slightest square toe silhouette in the sole, but it doesn't really show up in the design for the upper parts of the shoe.
also...
J. Press sport coat, this is a 42R and i am going to ebay it, since it's just barely not big enough for me.
Hi!
Newbie to the forum. I thrift too. Found some great vintage clothes that way. Where I live, my wife gets a 30% discount at some thrift stores through her employer. Pretty sweet.
Thinking about buying theses from someone on a Facebook selling site. They're gently used, and brand new each would sell for well over $150. What's a fair price to offer for all 3? I'm thinking no more than $100....any suggestions?
8D J Crew Ludlow suede cap toe boots from eBay for only $65 shipped. Nearly new condition, even the soles barely look worn.
I'm an 8E, usually get 8.5D when 8Es aren't available, and my right foot is taller/bigger instep (but still flat feet) than my left so the top/base of tongue is too tight. I knew this would be the case for these boots so I'm currently stretching them out now with some Meltonian leather/suede stretch spray and several thick socks. Just about almost comfortable now!
those look awesome! i'm sure between your feet adjusting and the boots adjusting you'll be super comfortable in them in to time at all.
Yup! After wearing them every other day after the initial stretching, they're just as comfortable as any of my other boots. But, only just so...can't wear thicker wool socks when the cold weather hits, but I'll manage.
