Canali! Canali Proposta actually, half-canvassed 3/2 roll and the wool feels like silk across the hand it's so soft. The pockets haven't even been opened yet. My first really nice thrifted high-end sc/blazer that actually fits me. Had a big stain on the sleeve and I was looking, feeling and smelling to see if I thought it would come out in the dry cleaners when I thought, "this is chocolate!". I bought it for a whole $4.31 took it home and hit it with a clothes brush and the stain totally disappeared. It looks like maybe the owner splashed chocolate from a chocolate fountain across his arm and didn't even try a dry cleaner.

The last 2 pictures are without flash and show the actual color (on my monitor at least). It's a 44R and the shoulder fit is great, no neck roll, it's a hair tight in the waist but I will wear it as is in a heartbeat. I'm still dieting and intend to lose 20 more lbs (making a total of 92) and I'm pretty sure even at that weight I'll need a 44-46 based on my shoulders.

Posts like this make me wish I had the patience to do this as well as knowledge of which specific locations around me to search in. Great find and congrats on the weight loss.

                    More Canali and E.Zegna

Hit the motherload today, I only had like 10 minutes to go through the same Goodwill where I got the Canali the other day. Just quickly pulled 2 Canalis, a mainline blue blazer with a seriously shined sleeve from overpressing that I have pulled just for the smoke MOP buttons (felt sacrilegious). The second was a great Canali Proposta grey birdseye SC in 42R that was tight on me but fits my son-in-law and grandson pretty damn good and has no damage that we can find. The 3rd was an E.Zegna 15milmil15 suit PoW w/ light blue overcheck 42/35w in great shape that will probably go to the son-in-law or grandson also. The jacket almost fits me but the pants have no cloth to let out and I'm not sure that even at my target weight they would fit. There were several other suits I just didnt have time to examine but were a BB1818, 2 Hickey Freemans, and a couple HSMs along with 2 bespoke suits I need to check out also. Guess I'll be there at opening time tomorrow huh? Pics to follow when I have the time.

These 9 Ds will soon be looking for a good home. Factory seconds, but still.

^^^ nice. The only unworn pair of shoes I've ever scored were a pair of NOS Footjoy golf shoes with metal spikes.

Pretty sure the pieces I picked up yesterday at one store were just the scraps from a crazy donation. Managed to grab several Truzzi shirts in my size, an awesome 3 piece PRL USA flannel chalk stripe, and this:

Gorge is a bit low, but this is still probably my best sport coat find ever.

Just got a Tag Heuer Carrera automatic for $30, sitting between some Fossils, that were similarly priced. Not sure what model.

                          Nevermind, it is a fake.

Picked up this pair of longwings for $2.99 yesterday, not sure what they are as any labeling on the inside has worn off. Goodyear welted, the pebble grain is reminiscent of what I've seen on some Florsheims in the past. The heel is stamped "O'sullivans" but I'm not sure if that's just a heel that was added later. Figured the shoe was nice looking, and despite he sole being pretty worn the uppers were in a great shape. Anyone have an idea what these are?

How do you know they are goodyear welted?
