First nice selection of records in quite a while. $6. I probably should have just gone with the Petersons, the Ella and Carmen, but at $1 a piece, it doesn't REALLY matter, right?
Nice. I have grown really fond of the 3/2 sack coats. Did you find them in your size?
First j.press ever apparently I am a 41R in j.press. Both fit well. Very trad and ivy styling longer than modern 41R fits like a long in the tail. Covers my butt fully.

How do you clean your thrift store records? I love vinyl and have milk crates full of albums, but it's difficult finding old vinyl in good condition. If I find something I end up liking I just buy a used CD version on Amazon and rip it in lossless.

Any idea what I actually got?
Hmm, might be a different line. Any Made in the xxx tags? How about a construction tag in the inside chest pocket?
No, I looked and couldn't find any construction tags anywhere, just a size and cleaning instructions tag. It says made in the USA three different places, (Union tag, Nordstrom patch, HSM patch) but nothing about fabric, line, anything like that.
Could it be a MTM blazer? I think Nordstrom does HSM suiting as MTM?

I've washed a few of them in warm water with soap, and it actually works really well. I try to be very careful about the condition of the records I buy, though. It's really difficult to find things in good condition, I agree.

I believe the "Gold" line was blazers/sport coats only, not full "Gold Trumpeter" suiting line. It's probably an OTR jacket that was tailored to the buyer. Still probably half canvas, made in the USA construction though.
As long as it's clean and in good condition, $8 is a great deal.
It definitely feels half canvassed. And aside from a smudge on the collar I think I can get out, it's in really good shape. Just gotta get a replacement button.
And hey, even if it doesn't work out, it's a 8 buck donation to the local shelter.
Some ties I thrifted from two different stores. Two of the Brooks ties had tags. It goes, Zegna, Brooks, Zegna, Brooks, Brooks. I plan on selling the Zegnas, how would I make sure they aren't fake? Also, despite all being BB makers ties, there are three different labels. Is that normal?
