Nice BB blazer find, True_Tech! The Harris tweeds are cool too, but I feel ya on the sleeves thing. I find so many of those bad boys at my local thrift shops, and I swear the area surely must have been overrun by T. rexes (plural?).

What size are those two blazers? I might be interested in taking one off your hands before your throw them up on ebay.

I've had a pretty good couple of weeks at the thrifts in my area. Here are a few of the more unique items:

Deadstock NWT Saks Fifth Avenue oxford stripe dress shirt

Orvis linen/cotton zip sweater with elbow patches (pretty certain this is NWOT)

Vintage Pendleton pearl snap western shirt (for every five Pendletons I find, four are riddled with moth holes - this one is mint)

^SERIOUSLY!? I always am stunned when people find stuff NWT.

Also that polo...10/10, would wear it, absolutely. And that BB/Loro Piana jacket? $$!

              Excellent finds.

Found a couple more ties over the weekend. Here's the 70% Wool/30% Cashmere Michael Bastian knit I came across

Sweetness. I REALLY like that one. I have no explanation on how such nice stuff ends up in thrift stores other than someone with good taste died.

Finally had a good find at my local savers. Vintage Louis Vuittons monogram tie. Navy with navy monogram Daimler. Not very noticeable you have to look close from far looks like a little texture. Awesome look.

Been lucky with ties lately. Louis Vuittons, Hermes, Burberry and Givenchy.

I thrift, but not so much these days now that I have a 10 mo baby. I don't have much luck finding anything worthwhile. I've purchased a couple of NWT ties, one a Burberry and the other a Hugo Boss, but not much else. The problem I have is that my local thriftstore has this annoying habit of using the tagging gun on the front of the ties, that is, they pierce the fabric and render the tie useless. I don't know why they don't tag the loop in the back. Either way, when it comes to thrifting second hand clothing/accessories I draw the line at socks, underwear and shoes. Basically anything that has touched someone's stinky parts. I find used shoes fairly disgusting and to this day can't figure out why anyone would want to put their feet in someone else's used shoes. blech

Why not let them know? Sometimes constructive criticism is warranted and helpful. They could sell more ties if they were in better condition. It's a win-win!

My thrift shop never does that always the name tag on the back.

Just e-copped these. How do these stand against all other denim brands?

Edwin is a good brand, but those aren't selvedge jeans so aren't really considered premium by the denim connoisseurs, still way better than Levi's at a Levi's-price.
