Found this Willis and Geiger field jacket yesterday and I have what I suspect is a moronic question -
The jacket is a zip and button front - what is the function of the extra zipper??

I thought maybe the additional zipper and fasteners (which are about an inch to either side of the button flap on the front) could be used to zip up and hide the buttons. But the zipper itself is facing the wrong direction.
