Excuse the poor lighting/quality. How's the fit look? I think it borders on small in the shoulder area but isn't too bad. First fitted Stafford shirt, got on sale and isn't worth price to exchange.
At worst I can use to layer, but I think its OK?

How much of an issue is this in terms of proper suit fit?
I bought a slim fit suit jacket and it fits perfectly except one area, it's tight in the shoulders due to the following detail. When I wear it, in between my shoulder blades you can see 2-3 horizontal lines in the fabric. I don't find it uncomfortable to wear though. I noticed this in a few suits posted in here and over at SF but sometimes people don't comment on the issue(?).
I've tried sizing up but it doesn't work; too boxy, big in the chest, and I get shoulder dimples.
Maybe related? The left lapel doesn't sit perfectly flat on my chest or as flat as the right side. Even when I sized up, it didn't. Tried another suit, same issue.
I will have a talk with my tailor this weekend but wanted to hear some thoughts.Comment

I'd love some help on this--I'm pretty new to the sportcoat/ blazer situation, but have learned tons from you all.
I just got the JCF Thompson Sportcoat in Herringbone in the mail and wondering if I need to size down from a 38R to a 36R or 36S, or go to the tailor.
I'm about 5'7" 145 lbs.

Bought some CT shirts recently, and decided to post a picture here. This is probably the best fitting shirt of the bunch, on two of the others the shoulders are a bit wider, but not to the point of being unreasonable, I think. Another, that I'm returning, just seems a bit wider in every dimension, and had a strange drape on the back, as well as slightly shorter sleeves. So yeah, what do you guys make of this? Pardon the poor photos, lighting, and setting.

I did. I posted a pic recently in this thread if you look back a little bit. The small fit me pretty good but was a tad tight in certain areas. It would have worked great if they had pit a center vent on it.
I then tried it on with a sweater (since I'd be wearing it with that type of stuff more than I would just a plain shirt) and it seemed too snug to me whereas the medium was way too big. I ended up returning it.Comment
