Sleeves for sure, but it might be tough to take in the waist as it already looks like it is pulling around the button. I would love to see what a larger size would look on you.

I second what Manny has said.

I like the overall look you're going for but I would advise against tapering at the waist because the jacket seems like it's already pulling quite a bit and forming an "X" when buttoned up. You should definitely get the sleeves shortened because right now, it's not allowing you to show any sleeve cuff of your shirt.

My new linen/cotton sportcoat came and like I feared it is short. Am I pulling this off? I am 6'1 and the back is 29 inches which is 1 less than my shortest SC and 2.5-3 less than I would wear in a suit.

I just got this leather jacket, but I'm unsure about the fit.
The sizing on the web seemed right, but I'm not sure in person. The sleeves are def. too short, but I have freakishly long arms so that's just how it's going to be, sizing up would make everything else bigger as well. It's not a suit or a shirt so it's not that important.
Leather jackets are supposed to be worn pretty slim fitting, right?

size up. That looks like your little brothers jacket. You can always shorter things or take things in, you can't add length.

Olaf, That jacket does not fit you, plain and simple.

That jacket is at least 1 size too small.

Damn. That's what my gut feeling said too. The measurements seemed to be good online. I hope I can return it...

I haven't steamed the suit yet, but it seems like there's some wrinkling or bunching in my right breast area on the jacket. I'd appreciate other thoughts and suggestions.

Ignore the apparent color mismatch between the pants and jacket. There was an open window near me that seems to have only illuminated my lower half with daylight.

                    Any thoughts on my suit?

That is much improved, for sure. The shoulders look much, much better. I still wonder if there is a little extra room across the back, but that is something a tailor could smooth out relatively easily. There is still an awful lot of waist suppression. Don't get me wrong, I think that can look good, but this is still a bit extreme. Gives somewhat of an (undesired) hourglass shape. It's also causing the double vent to flare a bit on your rear.

I also agree that it is much improved. Jacket fits much better, although *maybe* just a bit too much waist suppression as others have mentioned

Agreed. Still way too much waist suppression.

Agreed- waist suppression is too much and though the pic is a bit small, I'm not seeing any puckering or rolls across the back- which is good. A better pic would help to confirm this. If there is rolls- then that suggests a bigger issue. Sleeves look great and the front looks very good.

Bar III suit. 36S. Still with tags. Back vent stitching is still intact. Looking for critique on the shoulders to see if I should go through with tailoring the rest of the suit.
If you need additional viewpoints, let me know. Thanks!
