bj, I agree with bruschetta (damn), the blazer looks pretty small overall. The sleeves appear like the might be too long already, or your shirt sleeves are too short. And the shoulders actually look on the small side.

andrew, I believe you are correct that the shoulders are a bit large. The dimple at the top can happen even when it fits appropriately depending on the shape of your shoulder. It is a bit hard to judge as the back looks pretty clean... second look at the pics, I think the shoulder is too big.

Greg, ya, thats what i am thinking. Really like the look and feel otherwise, and havent seen a similar one that I can get at a good price, so will be sticking with this. Do you think a tailor might be able to adjust it slightly for the better by taking it in a bit from the center seem at the top?

Potentially, though that can be tricky with the collar and lapels. You'll have to ask. Whatever you do to it, it looks like it has a tendency to flare a bit at the bottom, make sure your tailor is aware of that. If you get it taken in at the waist a bit, it can make that worse unless they are conscious of it.

That's the 1st thing I noticed as well when I saw the pics.

Vicious and Greg, ya, my large rear end doesnt exactly help either. I just had a friend pinch the back by the center seam in a half inch or so and it looked pretty good i think. Will take it to the tailor tomorrow to see what he thinks. Thanks for your thoughts

I'm not sure about keeping these:

I picked them up in a 32x32 in the sale over the weekend but I'm not sold on the fit.
Feel at least a 1/2 inch too short and a little loose in the arse.
I played with the contrast so you could better see the fit since these are dark jeans, forgive me for the poor quality.

IMO length is perfect for showing some sock when sitting. As for your butt, I'd say let the wash/dryer shrinkage take care of that.

But won't that shorten the length? I'm not a fan of jeans that are more than 1/2 an inch form the ground.

Sorry, yeah that's true Dave you're right. You may want to get them a bit longer then

Waiting to hear from Bonobos now. Hopefully they restock these in a 32x34.

On a side note. The American Eagle slim straight jean in the rigid wash looks/feels almost identical to these Bonobos jeans in fit, color and styling.
Maybe a little darker/rigid at first, but after a few washes they are softer and if washed with hot water will fade a bit to be more blue.

I ordered a 32x34 in those and after washing/shrinking them they fit even better than these jeans from Bonobos.
The AE 32x34 give me that extra half inch after shrinking the rest and fit like a dream.

So my LEC boiled wool blazer just came in and I think it looks alright just wanted to feed it to the fit lions and get everyones opinions on the fit and the blazer in general. Its every unstructured and basically feels more like a sweater blazer if that makes sense.

Dave Porter, the length of the jeans is perfect, if not a bit too long. There is a bit of extra room in the butt.

s_crane, Is that fit off the rack? If so, that's pretty darned good. The only negative thing that stands out is the gap between your collar and the jacket collar. That may be due to your posture, or the angle of the picture. Do the shoulders feel tight?

You had much better luck with that blazer than I did. Fit me wonderfully in the body, but the shoulders were way too wide and the sleeves were much too long which wouldn't have been worth pointing out if not for those functioning button cuffs. I think the fit is pretty solid from what I can tell assuming the collar gap in the last pic is just a posture thing.

How does this fit? The sleeves are long I think.

edit: As I was setting this up, my little girl handed me the little flower so I stuck it in my lapel.

I'd love to get the forum's opinion on a trio of navy items.

First off, a Tyrwhitt cable knit cardigan. I am new to the worlds of cardigans and shawl collars and light on chunky sweaters. But I'm trying to fill these wardrobe holes. I know that cardigans are not usually supposed to be super fitted and is made for layering, but even taking that all in consideration, this feels a little baggy to me. It definitely has low armholes. I'd consider sizing down but they are out of smalls right now and a small would be an inch shorter in the body, and I wonder if that would look weird.

I mean, it seems OK, but I am liking the fit of my LL Bean shawl collar sweater a lot more:
