I just got a new OCBD, I think it might be a little too big around my waist but it fits good in the arms/shoulders. What do you think?

Also I noticed that it has dark blue thread on the bottom button and buttonhole. Does it look tacky to wear a shirt like this untucked? (so the bottom button is showing)
Also wearing: Dark Levis 505, LLBean suede Chukkas

jamesm,
I'd definitely need to see it tucked in to gauge size around the middle.
On a related note, unless you're at a super casual event, i.e. you're manning the grill and having a few friends over or maybe at the lake or something, I don't understand the desire to leave a button down shirt untucked. It almost never looks as good. The only reason I bring that up is I'm not sure I'd be too picky about fit if you don't plan to tuck it in anyway. If you plan to go untucked all the time, it looks about as good as it's going to in my opinion.

Hey all,
Back with a J-Crew Factory 40L jacket I bought last week. Haven't gotten the sleeves hemmed yet or opened the vent in the back. I'm 6'4", 190lbs, I wear a 16.5/36 and 34/34 pants.
Realized I should have probably tried to get these pics using a timer on my phone, but let me know what you think so far:

I can count on 2 fingers the number of times I've worn a spot coat in the last 15 years, but I'm trying to... get there. I'm trying to get comfortable with how they should feel and fit, so this is my first "How Does This Fit?" post.
Thrifted this Hickey Freeman jacket that I posted about in the "Thrifting" thread.
Feels maybe a little short all around, but there seems to be enough fabric in the sleeves to let them down a bit. Damn, I look WIDE in that front shot. But, that's more my fault than the jacket's. =(
Thoughts? Trying to decide between keeping it for myself or reselling to put towards something else.

My concern with that jacket is not the sleeves. The length of jacket seems too shorts. But I don't know, perhaps your legs are short, too, that it may be proportional.
