I always go with "fun socks" i have strips, argyle, skulls, dots...hell i have a pair with dinosaurs on them! Target has some fun cheap socks.

I was a plain black sock/white sock kinda guy (thanks, Dad), but I've learned how nicely coordinated socks add just the right zip to a standard suit.
