What I think you all drive...

Relevant because what you drive can be an extension of your style...

Anyways, this is what I think you all drive based on context clues from various posts. I probably won't get any of them right, but that's really not the point. Don't be offended if you don't like your choice. :-P here we go:

    nicholascrawford:

arborist + family man + conservative + creative = VW Jetta (w/ diesel engine)

(Would have chosen a mid-size SUV if you hadn't outted that your "car" got towed.)

    Jason Carreira:

software guy + puts premium on quality + mature style + has gf, but no kids mentioned = Volvo S40 (used, of course)

(Second pick was a late-90's Mercedes.)

    BenR:

grad student + sharp, casual dresser + outdoorsy = Nissan Xtera

(Second pick would have been a Honda Civic.)

    OnlyShawn:

landscape contractor + penchant for indestructible workboots = white, long-bed, crew cab 4x4 Chevy Silverado

(Second guess would be the same truck without the long bed.)

    MaxMan:

    young + classy + single + full-time job = Mazda 6

    Tat:

wears suits to work + married + relaxed when off-duty + owns 1,000,000 shoes + kids unknown = Infiniti G37 convertible

If I didn't list you, it's because I haven't derived enough context clues.

... and this is what happens when I don't have enough clues.

    hornsup84:

former Austin resident + UT grad = VW Minibus in burnt orange

    Perfect hippy-mobile for away-game roadtrips. ;-)

You were close with the Honda Civic... I actually drive a 2005 Ford Focus.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about cars to guess what you drive... but I'm sure it will get much more awesome now that you're gonna get that big promotion and raise after meeting with the president and getting your MBA ;-)

The S40 is spot on for JC, and the "used of course"... Classic! Well done Alan.

            Volvo... S80?

I tried to trade in for an S40 but couldn't get enough for my current vehicle. I was given one as a rental once, and I was hooked.

              2002 Saturn LW300 LOL

This fall I'll be done paying off lots of things at once and I'll be getting a new car. I've read bad things about Volvo reliability over the last few years though, so probably not one of those.

Really? That's a shame. They have a great factory warranty so I just figured...

Hahah, wrong type of Longhorn (think West Campus more than South Congress or Hippie Hollow), but pretty funny.

As for clues, it seems like I'm doing pretty well keeping my identity secret. Like Batman, minus being a badass and rich.

You shouldn't need any context clues to figure out what I drive...

I previously drove a 2005 Scion tC. Last summer I bought a 2009 Ford Flex SEL in dark blue. It's not an exciting car, but with a one year old baby it is a godsend.
