@bjmcgeever - Nice haul! I'm especially fond of the Malverns. I almost picked up a pair during the 2 for $250 sale recently. Really like both of those pants from BR, great pattern & texture.
@TheMimbo - Big fan of the Veblens...bad boys are built like tanks! I also really like that color, should look great with jeans. Unfortunately, I purchased mine a while back in the size I THOUGHT I wore back then and they ended up being too big. I might look to get another pair on the cheap soon.
@Vicious49 - Good looking jacket...nice detailing. I'm a fan of the Ludlow fit after trying on a couple of jackets in store a few weeks ago. A 42R fits me almost perfectly, but could use the waist brought in slightly.

Two white jeans from J. Crew: the Tompkins jean and the vintage slim "wheat" jean (although it still looks very white to me).
Found them at the J. Crew clearance store, tags say SU12. Around $25 each after the 20 percent off the regular clearance store price. These both fit much better than the Levis 501 and 514 white jeans I have--and they'll be replacing those.

30% Off JCrew Factory today. Just ordered the Navy Thompson (finally) for $224 w/ tax. Not the cheapest its ever been, but I realize now how useful a solid navy suit would be (my only suit is great, but its got stripes on it). They say not to expect the pants until July. So until then it's boxers + suit jacket for me. I guess that's one way to beat the Texas heat.
Another recent purchase are Levi 508s in a light grey. Needed a pair of jeans in this color (though they may just be thick twill cotton, not sure yet) and they do the job well.

@ajk170: Neutral Grey (http://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom/jeans...mComboVal=null) I used the JCP $10 off $25+ purchase code. I don't think there will be any streaking with these. I plan to wear them with anything from sneakers to brown shoes like my Kenilworth + a dark shirt (maybe the Calibrate Gingham) and a blue cotton blazer for a nice casual look.

That threw me off a bit.Ben

I picked this up quite some time ago. Have just been lazy recently and haven't posted a dang thing
This is the JCF Thompson in Cotton Khaki post-tailoring. Nothing was done to the sides of the jacket, as they were perfect. The pants had to be tapered slightly and hemmed. I think It'll be a great summer suit.
Picked this up today:
It is a brown glen plaid Suit jacket from JCP. It was on clearance for $48, and the matching pants for $25.
The fabric is very nice, 100% wool, with an almost felt-like feel. Certainly a fall/winter suit.
Do you guys think the length is okay? It's a 38L, when I usually purchase 38R. It seems to fit me perfect, length wise, other than the sleeves needing to be shortened .5 - 1".
Also had to get these shoes while I was at JCP as well.
After coupon, they were $10 and change each. Not bad for sperry clones.

There's a GAP store here in town that was recently switched over to a GAP Factory Outlet. Somehow I managed not to figure that out until this week. I checked it out and I've decided I like the outlet a lot better than the regular store. I picked up 4 shirts (including 3 OCBDs, which I'd been wanting for spring/summer casual use) and a lightly insulated cotton/poly baseball-style jacket for about $100 total.
One weird thing - apparently I am an extra small at GAP, at least in their "classic fit." The OCBDs I got are all "classic fit," size XS, and fit perfectly.
American sizing never ceases to amaze me. At 5'9" and not super skinny (140-150 lbs depending on how lazy I've been with diet/exercise), I don't think most people who saw me on the street would describe me as an "extra small" guy. But whatever - I'm glad to have found some casual summer shirts that fit well for cheap.Ben
