Starting my Black Friday shopping early with some JFitzpatrick boots! Actually met the man himself and picked these up from his distribution center/office. I'd been eyeing Justin's shoes for a few years now...

Very nice. I do love his shoes. Aren't these intended to be comfortable for walking? Are they comfortable?
WHY ARE THE GUYS IN SUITS HERE? HAS SOMETHING GONE WRONG?

I suppose, given a name like ‘city hiker’. so far i have not worn them for more than a few minutes when trying them on. the upper is a tad stiff for now, hopefully they break in relatively easily. i’ll probably take them out for a spin tomorrow!

Just picked up this from S&M: https://www.spierandmackay.com/navy-...edo-25320.html

My first black tie appropriate suit. Not bad for $342.
Also got myself a Bulova open heart automatic watch for $150. https://www.bulova.com/us/en/product/98A187.html
              Yay Thanksgiving deals.

I picked up the Surrey in black a few months back and so far, so good. Very comfortable, and so far holding up well in the WI winter.

I dont usually post on this thread because I just grab things here and there but over the past few months I have been reworking my fall and winter items. I needed stuff I could wear for date nights or day outings that was somewhere between super casual and my business casual work stuff. A lot of J Crew and BR in here. Sorry, not a shill, they just have fits that I know work off the rack for me. All of these layer over or under stuff I already have and replaces some aged stuff that had some wear. Instead of giving reviews of everything, I will say that I like them all and would recommend. I dont think I bought anything at less than 40% off though. Some of the clearance twills were as low as $12.

                      Shirts
Picked up a couple of J Crew brushed twill medium weight flannel shirts.
This blue and another color that is not there anymore. Clearance stuff during black friday codes. I just needed some casual patterns in appropriate weight/color schemes for cooler months. This work well and i know J crew Slim Medium works for me, no problems.
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/AB488?color_...-navy&N=MEDIUM

Blackwatch Flannel. Not heavy weight but one of my favorite patterns.
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/AG514?color_...ch-ta&N=MEDIUM

Heavyweight work shirt...in AUBERGINE! Again, J Crew slim medium for the win. I like easy buys.
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/AF849?color_...rgine&N=MEDIUM

                      Sweaters
J Crew merino cardigan in grey. I have had a cotton one for along time and finally upgraded. I like to layer this one or wear it over a tee shirt with jeans for some smart casual.
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/AE144?color_...-coal&N=MEDIUM

Mock neck pullover. Takes the place of one of my hoodies. All the comfort, better look for layering
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/J8233?color_...-grey&N=MEDIUM

Donegal bomber cardigan. I wasn't sure what I would think of this but I like donegal and the sale was good so I tried it. Boy, I am glad I did. Buttoned it up with a...button up and wore like a cardigan. Bah, bad sentence but whatever. Today I had it unbottoned like a jacket. Worked both ways.
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/AF462?color_...negal&N=MEDIUM

¼ zip donegal sweater in “Ocean” blue. Straight forward here. Just some more donegal
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/AD400?color_...negal&N=MEDIUM

BR Factory Luxe ½ zip. Picked up a couple of colors because I couldnt decide. Oatmeal and charcoal. Lightweight and work on their own with a contrasting tee ot with a button up.

There is another button mock neck in a marled brown that I cant find on their site.

                      Outerwear/accessories
J Crew Sussex quilted jacket in olive. A little stiff but thats probably the price I am paying for thin but warm. Looks great
                      https://www.jcrew.com/p/AA144?color_...-moss&N=MEDIUM

Head running gloves for lightweight warmth while hiking.
                      https://www.costco.com/head-men%e2%8...100493291.html

Gerry down puffer jacket from Costco. On sale for $20. Its a lightweight puffer. It works. Not on the site right now but still in stores.

BR Factory mixed media vest, back on sale for $30. Killer deal on a fall piece. I will mainly hike with it but its decent enough to wear for casual hang out.

The Spier MacKay wool/mohair navy tux came a week ago and now I've finally got a tux shirt to go with it. Fits just about perfectly.
