rest of my shirts from Fit Custom Shirts showed up, should shrink a bit more. These are MTM I think I have them almost dialed in, wondering if they will shrink much more. Blue is a Royal Oxford fabric in blue. Pink was supposed to be an end on end chambray but it sure seems like it's broadcloth so I emailed the company about that, no reason for it to be $30 more and be exactly like the cheapest shirt.

Grafton polo in size S from Tip Top Tailors, which is the premium brand and some of their stuff is made in Canada. Hasn't been washed yet, it will shrink a bit, has longer sleeves than normal polos I find.

Jcrew Long sleeve Medium in Tall size, length of the bottom is longer than the other short sleeve polo, unfortunate but the sleeves fit so I'm happy about that, otherwise I'd never have a long sleeve.

Picked up the LEC waxed canvas duffle coat recently, it's pretty solid. It's not slim, but not noticeably baggy either (and I've read that duffle coats aren't traditionally supposed to be too slim...). It's got some nice detailing and the down filling is pretty substantial, I can't imagine wearing this thing if it's over 20F outside. Only thing I'd really like to change is to make the hood removable, but other than that I'm leaning towards keeping it, because I totally need another winter coat :P

Lands End polos: Blue is medium Pima polo tailored($17), white is medium tailored mercized pima polo with tennis tail($24), crimson clay is a large tailored with tennis tail($7)

The "blue"(greenish) pima fits/feels the best IMO.

Regarding sizing for others using as reference: 42 chest, 33 waist, 40 hips, torso length to boxer line is about 23"(the clay coloured one is sitting about 5-6 inches below in the front and its about an extra 1.5 inches on the tennis tail.

JCrew still would be my preference: the fit of the LE's may also be a bit different as I am dehydrated to heck today(gym & hockey last night and just coffee today until now) and lack of glycogen stores(low carb day). I have a feeling they would be slightly more fitted but it wouldn't be a night and day difference

these were just washed and thrown on for fit halfway through the dryer, excuse the wrinkles

@pratyk: bought the same thing this morning. Hopefully, it's a keeper because Myhabit hasn't been that great in the shoe department.

                    Lots of purchases recently:

AE Players (walnut) and Malverns (brown suede) - $200

BR blue wool pants (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=160806260382) that fit perfectly - $33

                    LE Tailored Charcoal Dress pants

LE Tailored Gray/White striped cotton pants. (~$100 for both)

                    Levi rigid/indigo straight fit jeans (505) - $24

Haven't received the LE purchases yet, excited to try them on.

Also bought Nordstrom Trim Fit white spread collar shirt and Calibrate Trim Fit black gingham shirt, both in 15.5/34-35, and they fit my 5'9"ish, 170lb frame great! Might buy a second white. Shirts were a total of $60

Despite spending a lot more than I usually do in a short period of time, I feel like I got quite a bit for my money!

Received my Florsheim No String Wings in brown leather this week. I'm no shoe expert, but the leather look and feel cheap to me. However, I really like the shape of the toe and they look nice from a distance. I walked around with them for about 30 minutes and they were comfortable. Anyway, I intend to use them as beater shoes, I really won't feel bad beating them.

Also ordered three slim fit casual shirts from J.Crew I found in an eBay auction. Tailored fit from J.Crew Factory fitted decently, so maybe the "real deal" will be perfect.

I finally took the plunge and got the Barbour international jacket that I have been lusting for the longest time.

It is amazing but it seems a little light on the wax. Theres only trace amount of wax residue on the fabric. Looking forward to a hot day so that I can wax it !

We seem to have a similar build and I'm surprised those mediums fit you so well.

hey all, recently went to the outlets and made a couple of purchases.

bought my first pair of "real" dress shoes (before this i would usually go to the lower end department stores and buy whatever was on sale). can't believe i didn't do this before - this shoes are so comfortable. they are both from cole haan - the lace ups are the cassadys and the loafers are martinos. The lace ups are a burgundy color but the salesman advised me that they would lighten up in color with time. Pictures are with and without flash.
