50% off code is BRTHINKBIG. It's running on a banner at the top of their site for more info.
I just received the JCrew Factory Thompson linen cotton sportscoat in khaki black and indigo navy for $41.50 each http://factory.jcrew.com/mens-clothi...4505/64505.jsp
It was previously reviewed on dappered. It is fully lined and so i did feel a bit hot outside here in houston. Looks nice although i might need to take it to the tailor to take the waist in a bit.
The third sportcoat i bought was the thompson glen plaid linen cotton for $54ish.. http://factory.jcrew.com/mens-clothi...0323/A0323.jsp
These are my first sportscoat purchase ever. Not sure if i should keep all due to the excellent price i got on them(total about $150). I wanted a wool one but i feel these might actually work in fall/winter as we don't have much of one over here. THoughts?
I purchased a pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile "Addison" Boots in tan from Nordstrom, price-matched against the Amazon.com price ($234 instead of $370). After I applied a coat of Obenauf's LP to them, they initially darkened a shade but have lightened half a shade as the oil has soaked in overnight. They're made from Horween's "Inferno" leather as opposed to the Chromexcel that the majority of the other 1000 Mile Boots are made of.
Regards,
Vic

Picked up these Cords from Bonobos tonight (http://www.bonobos.com/slim-grey-corduroy-pants-for-men). First time buying Cords for me, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for things that would go well w/ these medium grey cords since Fall is a few months away?
Picked these up this morning for $120. The burgundy suede is probably not for everyone, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they work with different outfits.

For Houston, I'd think you'd get more mileage out of those three than a wool one. You can absolutely wear those year-round there.

Cords are a fall/winter staple, and that's a great price for the Bonobos ones. They can be worn the same as any grey jeans or chinos. For inspiration I'd suggest doing a search, as Joe (from the main page) loves grey jeans (his favorite are BR), and he is often suggesting outfits that involve them.
