The exchanged pair (size issue) of Allen Edmonds McAllisters arrived yesterday and they looked rather grey compared to the website photos. You can still see on the original finish on the tongues. I applied Lexol to them as I didn't know how long they had been in storage or on the shelf and it stripped off most of the darkening, leaving what you see here. On the toe area near the welt, there was non-uniformly applied in some areas some sort of finish that did not respond to the Lexol at all, but a 50/50 alcohol/water mix removed it. I'm thinking about using either AE's premium shoe polish or Meltonian shoe cream in dark brown to add depth and luster to them as I rather like the color. In the future, I think walnut will be the next color AE shoe I will purchase.

Are the Hyde Park a dressier OCBD? What's the fabric like?

Thanks. I think right now I'm looking for more of a washed OCBD. I do have a couple of other supima LE OCBDs that I picked up for virtually pennies a couple of years back. Unfortunatley they're the non-iron stuff but other than that they are very decent. I wear them occassionally, and they're decently sized, not too slim, not too big.

The collar is decently sized and holds a tie well although I wish it were a little bigger like they used to be. Like Jamie said, it's nice being able to select neck/sleeve sizes.

I payed $3895 for it brand new with the Omega 4-year warranty. Honestly, it's a much better deal to just buy it new if you can find it around $4000. Most don't go below $3500 if they're in good condition and even less if it has a factory warranty.

I like the PO quite a bit. I may get a black one in 42mm some day in the far, far future. Went with the 38.5mm Skyfall AT. Fits my wrist quite well. 7.25".

I was saving up my thrifting eBay profits to buy a new 27" iMac, but I decided to go with a refurb'd Mac Mini and a cheap monitor instead. I blew the difference on clothes (egregious brag list below). I paid significantly less than retail on everything except for the Nike shoes.
Filson 257 - otter green
Alden Perforated Cap Toe Bal - black
AE Strand - bourbon
RRL Fleece Hoodie (I got this for more than 50% off retail...still absurd for a cotton/poly sweatshirt I know but damn it's sweet)
Nike Tech Fleece Crew - grey heather
Nike Flyknit Trainer+ - bright crimson/white
Nike Flyknit Racer - white/black volt
Ledbury OCBD - light blue
Ledbury Campbell Plaid
