So the kit came in today, and I resized both my watches. The first one took a bit of effort, but the second one took me less than 5 minutes.

      Thanks a bunch!

        You know you're a hopeless style nerd when:

        -You're REALLY EXCITED when you wake up and it's raining cats and dogs on a Saturday morning;
        -You make and consume your coffee and breakfast ultra fast so you can try your new Barbour coat out in the rain;
        -You get upset when, by the time you make it outside, it has stopped raining;
        -You go for a walk anyway and get excited when it starts drizzling again;
        -Your walk takes you through a cemetery and you seriously consider propping your phone on a headstone so you can take a WIWT pic.

            Been on a bit of a suit buying tear lately - new position requiring business attire 5 days/week...

            I picked up this Medium Grey Wool-Cotton Windowpane Ludlow for $270. My local J.Crew is still running 40% off sale items (rather than the 30% off online). It only comes with the Slim pants, so I had to size up to get them to fit my thighs and calves! Its a little bit darker in person, I think:

            I like that the peak lapels are slightly wider than the standard Ludlow, but aren't ready to take flight either.

            I grabbed a Charcoal Ludlow suit jacket off of eBay for $82 to go with a pair of pants I already had (total for suit was about $145):

            And, I purchased that Medium Grey eHaberdasher Benjamin suit LosRockets was selling. I think I'm set on grey suits now...! (I'm actually considering returning the windowpane suit, as it was a bit of a splurge, but its so nice I'm going to think on it for a few days...)

              Long-sleeved polos. From J. Crew, white in the broken-in version, shoreline and navy in the classic pique. I dig these things for summer through early fall. 30 percent off and free shipping. God, with my new summer shoes and these shirts, I can't think of a thing I want for the next several months.

              Ha, and if you believe that... .

                bought a pair of APC new standard in noir for $30, like these: http://www.apc.fr/frfr/homme/jeans/n...V00303498.html

                these are my first pair of "high end" denim other than gustin, and i have to say they are notably nicer.

                the stitching is much more precise (i noticed they are made in japan), but by far the most noticeable improvement is the cut. gustin jeans seem like they are cut for 2D bodies and are straight lines from the thighs to the ankle, even in slim, where as these APC jeans have space for an ass and taper well - not too skinny, but they definitely aren't boot cut.

                  BR was having a $50 off $100 purchase sale on Saturday so I picked up a couple of pairs of Aiden slim-fit chinos for Spring/Summer. Great fitting pants.

                    Been on a bit of a spending spree for the last few months. It is rarely hot in SF, so now is a good time to buy year-round layers from winter and fall collections that are on clearance. Also, I always go through the shopping portal from American Airlines to get miles for shopping. I will get about 5000 miles in addition to the miles I earn on my card for the purchases below.

                      I wonder if no one has posted to this thread recently because they're afraid they can't compete with the spending spree of mrclean06...!

                      I grabbed these AE Parklands in Chili Grain off of eBay recently for $82 - they were essentially new, with almost no visible wear on the insoles or outsoles.

                      Also picked up these TBNY blue suede double monks for $111 - not the most versatile shoe, but I think I will find some use for them...

                          WOW! Congrats! Just curious, are you in California? Would be fun to hear how the buying/ownership experience is outside of CA where most of the supercharging stations are.
