I just got an "Important Reminder" email from Ralph Lauren. Saying they're honoring the discount, but the order is delayed and they anticipate shipment within 3-10 business days. Hopefully it goes through. And I ordered the Marlows in size 9.5. I wanted a 9, because I heard about sizing down a half size as well, but they were out at that point (it was around 2AM). Hopefully it'll fit anyway. If not, I guess I'll be one of those flippers.

Man that sucks. At least you know that they are honoring the discount. I couldn't get any work done the past 3 days because I was checking my email every 5 minutes for either a shipping confirmation or cancellation email.

Haha, I can relate! It hasn't been quite as bad for me, but I've definitely been checking my email more frequently.

I wish I heard about the RL code before it went dormant. I tried it around 10 hours after it was posted on SF and it wasn't working.

I find that they are at least as comfortable as my jcrew shirts. These seem to feel a bit stiffer, which makes them better dress shirts, in my opinion. The collars stood up pretty well and didn't seem very floppy. These are slim fits, but they aren't skin tight. These apparently have some sort of new pleats on the shoulders, which I thought was pretty cool. In regards to quality, I'm not very sure I know yet. They seem to be made well, but I've only worn a couple of them once.
For the $13 per shirt that I paid, they are definitely worth it.

Picked up the Barbour-esque (I say this very, very lightly) Stafford Prep Redford Coated jacket at JCP on my lunch break today for...$5.34. Yeah, yeah, I know its a cheap knock-off, but I couldn't help it, I needed something lighter than my peacoat for casual wear and at that price they may have as well have been giving it away! The fit was pretty solid too.

You almost always can find an extremely decent Timex for under $50.

Give it a $10-20 NATO strap and you are golden.
