Got a pair of Florsheim Quince bucks in grey nubuck. I'm supposed to be a size 6.5D, but the 7D I ordered fits great.

That bow tie reminds me of one I wanted from Tommy Hilfiger, but was sold out. I've never really even considered wearing one, but that one was making me want to try it out.

I'm actually not positive myself, and I'm currently looking at them in person (shipped SUPER fast). I'd say they are closer to a normal brown, but there does seem to an very slight reddish tint to them. The Sebago color name is "Brown Elk" (haha, if that helps at all). I'm digging them regardless. They definitely need to be broken in a bit, but even stiff they feel good on my feet.

I bought a couple of bows from Cordial Churchman before I started Starboard, the quality is fine. The majority of bows are obviously cotton, but once you get past that, they're a solid deal. The only caveat is that the bows are slide adjustable, just like mine were originally. I've since moved to the hook and loop adjuster system like what Brooks, Banks, SoPro, and pretty much everyone else use. I believe Ellie still uses the slide adjusters. That being said, she's a nice lady and makes good customizable ties.

Received my lands end + j.crew purchases today.


The oarsman shirts (sp?) fit pretty well as a casual shirt. picked up 3 - yellow, lavender & light blue.. Also got the 19$ aviators and they feel pretty solid and sturdy. Definitely not cheap. The tie pin feels like it could have been a bit shorter but i ain't complaining for that price.


The lands end Canvas plum chinos might be a little too tight on the behind but i am working towards losing a few pounds anyways so should fit alright in a few weeks. The socks seem to be above average in terms of quality compared to stuff at TJ Maxx or Marshalls.

Sorry no pics yet, but I did score a pretty nice navyish sports coat/suit jacket by Alfani Red from Macy's yesterday. It has a really nice texture to it.


Was marked from $250 to $69 so I grabbed it. When I checked out it actually rang up as $39 so was really pleased with that.


Also grabbed a few of the Club Room slim fit shirts on sale. They were originally $49.50 marked as 50% off but rung up at around $14 each. So much win.
