Dang, that's a great deal! Their website said 9am on 1/1 though. I was barely functioning at that point, and after that spent the next couple of hours making the Canal House "Cleansing Ginger-Chicken Soup."
A few Roda pocket squares from Gilt arrived today though.

Post pics when they arrive. And then again in six months.

Last night I pulled the trigger on a navy Filson Oregon Trail Jacket since it's exactly the kind of lightweight jacket I can see myself wearing both in the field for work (I'm a wildlife biologist) as well as around town as a casual spring/fall jacket. I was saving up the money I used to buy it for a Filson moleskin vest but couldn't pass up this handsome and functional a jacket at such a price. I'll resume saving up for the vest (which I also envision using for both the field and office) next. I'm pretty excited; I've been drooling at Filson gear since I first learned about the company last year and this will be my first purchase from them!

STP finally had a few pairs of Trickers in something smaller than a UK9 so I picked these up last night for $240. I'm normally a UK8 but the smallest they had was UK8.5. I'm not familiar with Trickers sizing so I'm really hoping these fit.

Maybe I'm mixing up everyone's NYRs. Dunno. Again, admittedly it's really none of my business... So have at it!
Hell, I already spent money this year too - today, in fact - on Dapperedly-goods. Nothing crazy, just a pair of the JCP Claiborne chocolate-brown suede wingtips and a pair of the JCP white/grey GAT-wannabes. Ah well... there's always tomorrow. Right?
