Snagged a pair of new J&M Aldrich IIs for nearly half price last night.

I hardly ever buy shoes in stores these days as online pricing is usually better, but I wanted to get sized properly for their stuff. Ended up going down a whole size and going EEE wide, but found that they're an amazing fit. VERY cushiony and soft with plenty of room in the toe box. A big advantage is the softer calf skin vs. the MUCH stiffer leather on the Meltons. Looking forward to breaking these in and seeing how they keep over time.

The Crew currently sells in navy, I think. I have what they call carob brown, which is sort of a green-brown. This new one is black.

Just bought the J. Crew Barn Jacket on Final Sale plus 30 % PLUS $25 customer appreciation gift card. With shipping, just under $70. Seems a little pricey even so to me, and like I need another jacket in my closet, but I couldn't pass this up. Have been hankering after this one for a while.

Finally posting some pics of the Stafford Super 100s slim-fit suit. Sorry about the wait. I originally posted about this purchase last week in the Recent Purchase thread. It is going to need some tailoring. From my first impressions I am thinking the waist, and the pants hemmed. As far as the suit itself, I like it. The material feels very soft and breathable (not like a $115 suit). The navy color looks good in person, not that super dark navy that it is next to black or the really light navy. All in all for $115 I think it could definitely see some action. Thoughts from you guys? What do you think about the fit or just the suit in general? Anyone else come across this in store since my last post on it? Also just a quick side note: the pants came with a heavy crease down the legs which made me think that it had a permanent crease (not show on the website) but it ironed out. No problem.
