Just picked up one of these in navy, with matching slim trousers for 196 on black friday. Will post about fit upon receipt; but in the meantime does anyone have any comments about their experience with the thompson? I'm 5'9 175, athletic build, and I like my shirts cut extra slim. Waist billowing is a major personal pet peeve of mine.

Although I've only tried it on in store, the jacket is pretty fitted. (36S)

I tried these on in the factory outlet on thanksgiving night. They were pretty tailored imo, and I'm slimmer than you I assume, (I'm 5'10 and 160ish and have an athletic build). Depending on the size you got (I am a 38R), I think you'll be satisfied with your purchase. Also $196 is a great price for this suit
