Infusing blue into a watch collection

I have black and brown leather watches, but no stainless. I'd really like to have blue hands on a nice matte stainless gunmetal watch, but I can't find anything I love. Maybe you guys could help.

Alternatively, I accidentally stumbled across this... thoughts? http://www.amazon.com/Nixon-Sentry-C.../dp/B00GMCEA6U

I highly recommend the stainless/blue combo. I was intrigued by the look a few years back when GQ recommended it. I dipped my toe in the water with a $27 casio and it quickly turned into my favorite watch. It goes with everything. So I decided to up my game a little and settled on this one from citizen [IMG][/IMG]

I'm very happy with it. Its got the stainless bling factor but the center of the band is a matte finish so it doesn't go too far. The blue of the face is great, not too dark, not too light and it changes a lot as it reflects the light.

    Good Luck

Sorry - this is a pet peeve of mine........why not include the model number or a link to the purchase page for anyone who might be interested? I'm sure Chris or others interested in the watch (which is very nice, by the way) would appreciate it.

Chris - I wouldn't pay that much for a Nixon. Nothing against the brand (although I have heard mixed reviews), but IMO they are not worth the asking price.

Take a look at Seiko SNDD67P1 (available on Amazon). I think it's close to what you're looking for, although it is black PVD, not exactly gunmetal.

My bad, that pic is from the citizen site. I thought the model number was shown. Here is the link to the citizen page. http://www.citizenwatch.com/en-us/wa...del=BU2010-57L

It lists for $350. I bought it at Kohl's. Found it on sale and stacked an additional 30% for using my card and it came in at $185. Just checked the kohl's site and don't see it there anymore.

It is a great looking watch. It's available from Amazon for $252. Not as good a deal as Kohls, but not a bad price considering.

I agree, that citizen is awesome! Never even considered the brand, but now I'll keep my eyes out for a deal; black friday is coming up...

              Thanks everyone!

Pulled the trigger and got it for 195 new with tags on ebay. Also if anyone is interested, its 252 on amazon, but they're running a 10% off certain things, and that watch is included, so it would be 226.

                Have a great day all

Looks like the OP found what he was looking for but for anyone else interested Christopher Ward has a few watches that might fit the bill.

I'm a big fan of the blue Casio EF503D, too, though it's hard to find these days:

Those look good. I have a navy faced Seiko from Amazon. I swapped out the metal band for cloth strap and I wear it in the warmer months.

One day, I would like to cobble together something like this.
Looks like a subtle navy dial with a bright reddish burgundy/brown...

I also have a blue face Seiko. I love it. I wear it with all different kind of bands like the stainless that came with it, nato straps in the summer, and I got a walnut strap from crown & buckle to go with my walnut strands. I've also been thinking about getting a metal mesh band for it.
