I would love to pick those up for that price too, but don't order that company. Lots of bad stories on scambook, click around and read their "shipping and returns" info, bad grammar and typos. Also, no phone number to contact them.

They don't accept returns, so any advice on fitting? I'm a 9 in my Sperrys and they're a bit too large (worn without socks), so I'm leaning towards 8.5

I think the Hingham has been discontinued which is why it's harder to find

I'm reviving this. Does anyone know where to find the Bass shoes at the top of the thread?

Bringing this back up because I'm definitely looking at some of the Frye's. I'm thinking of getting the camel color in the smooth leather, or the blue in the smooth (leaning camel).

From above I understand OnlyShawn may have a pair (in green?), but any other experience with Fryes? Seems like a great product, but wasn't sure. I'm usually a 12 in most shoes... order the 12? 11.5?

Okay, I'm gonna get the Oak Streets... I was pretty sure before, but this is just awesome:

@JC, the Oak Streets are still great. Hard to beat leather like that. And they can be recrafted, which seems rare in a boat shoe. The color was exactly what I was looking for. It's a little less on the dark navy side and a bit more on the brighter navy/deep royal blue side.

You're like a 10 or 10.5 right? If your usual size is rather snug, go down a half size if you go the Oakstreet route. If your usual size is slightly large on you, you may want to consider a full size down.

I've had some suede trainers... They always made a comeback after a run-in with rain puddles.

Suede is actually a very tough leather that stands up to water pretty well. Plus it looks cool

@greg_s how are you liking the oakstreets now?
