Can anyone confirm if the Superga 2750 COTU sneaker has a crepe sole? Amazon says it is crepe, which makes me worry it is going to be slick on wet surfaces like a pair of Clarks DBs I had that had a crepe sole.

Its not a crepe sole like on a pair of CBD. Its a hard rubber, it just has some ridges, so maybe that's why they call it crepe?

Quick question on Bean boot sizing/height: I normally wear a 9d but the ball of my foot is pretty wide. I'll probably wear boot socks with them most of the time and I want the option to be able to tuck my pants into the top. Should I still size down or just go with my tts size? Is it worth it to go for the 12" over the 10" because I feel like the 10" is still tall enough to tuck pants but short enough to be convenient to take on and off.

I got these and listening to LL Bean's sizing advice, I sized down one full size - and they fit beautifully. I normally wear them with thick merino wool socks and they are still comfy. I got the 8" boots and they hit just below the calf, so I think the 10"s will be just fine for tucking.

Greys, browns, and tan are your primaries. Maroon or "dark" green are your alternates. Chinos or cords will serve you best.

You can wear those with just about any casual pant. Personally, though, I think a grey or white/off-white sneaker looks better with dark denim than navy.

How much does it typically cost to have shirt sleeves shortened? I've never had it done before. For reference, my guy charges $25 to shorten blazer sleeves.

Alright guys, question on blazers/suit jackets.

I'm 5'11, 170ish lbs, semi athletic build but I'm still on the "thin" side through the mid section. A 42R JCF Thompson fits nice in the shoulders, but the chest/lapels open up and fold when I spread my arms wide, making me think its just a little too tight through the chest. Yet the lower half of the jacket way too wide and needs to be taken in. Should I just deal with the chest opening when I open my arms since the shoulders are good?

Any solutions besides possibly going to a 44R and get it significantly tailored? Or are there any good jackets that aren't as wide throughout the body as through the chest?

Ugh the problems of having a 10-12 inch drop.........thanks guys
