    New Indochino Suits Appearing Today

I have to say, the Prince of Wales charcoal suit and this blue sharkskin look incredibly appealing. Indochino did a fine job on my first suit, and I'm looking forward to delivery of the Ultimate Grey Suit (now Essential Grey).

Curious - what's sharkskin mean and what do you think if it? I remember you guys talking about a Hilfiger sharkskin, I think. It looks to me like the yarn graduates to different tones, leaving you with a nuanced weave that reflects many different shades of blue, in this case. A little sheen too, perhaps?

I'm reading that it uses two tones woven together. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharkskin

    100% wool in this case.

I'm not crazy about a lot of the sharkskin suits I've seen, but that navy color is really nice. It's a much richer color than the usual navy suits you see, which are typically almost black or charcoal in appearance. I'm also liking the micro houndstooth and herringbone patterns. A bit of a different twist on the standard mid-grey suit.

I'm disappointed that no sharks were harmed in the making of this fabric.

I think the risk is moving towards a pastel blue which is not going to be a 10-year suit. The Prince of Wales charcoal and herringbone are quite timeless.

Quite different than my wife buying two new overcoats each winter. Then you just need it to be stylish for 3 months.

Sharkskin suits just make me think of sleazy 80s bond traders.
