    Winter hat suggestions?

Hey fellas. Now that the cold is in full force in Michigan, I'm looking for a nice winter hat since the ones I have are pretty old. I'm looking for something reasonably priced also. Any suggestions? I'm considering this Polo hat:

I got this one in Dark Midnight Heather Stripe and I'm very happy with it.

I think it looks better in person.

This thing is the warmest hat ever. It was 10 degrees and windy and I didn't feel a thing.

I second Jason's recommendation. The Rothco is warm and looks good.

Good suggestion. I like that it's made in the USA as well.

I've been wearing an Asics fleece beanie the last couple days that was all of 9 bucks. No style, but keeps me warm.

I ended up pulling the trigger on this light gray watch cap from Peregrine. Merino wool and made in the UK. After discounts I got it for about $13 shipped.

I have that same cap in the brown color. Great for cool to moderately cold temps. It does a surprisingly good job blocking the wind, too, considering it's just a knit cap. In extreme cold, though, I prefer to wear my unfashionable Dale of Norway cap - it's a knit wool outer with a full fleece lining and a wind-proof membrane. It's a hard combo to find.

I've been on the fence about this one for a while now.

Anyone have this or an opinion on this? Thanks.

I actually have that one too (same color and all) and I love it a lot. Great for cold, sunny conditions thanks to the brim. The pull-down ear flap does an ok job protecting your ears but I still prefer a traditional knit cap on really cold days. It's not the dressiest or most fashion-forward design, but it works well if you're into workwear/streetwear.

Because of the precise sizing, it might be a good idea to try them on in person if you can. You can look for local retailers here: http://www.stormykromer.com/dealers

Get a 100% wool government watch cap from an Army/Navy store if you can. I got mine for $6.
