      Well, the problem is you that you have to get both, otherwise someone will walk in and notice you have an orphaned armchair or sofa and you'll be really embarrassed.

            I'm assuming you mean "furniture"? If so, I actually didn't think that was too bad. Quality furniture is very expensive to make. That fabric and the upholstering alone would be incredibly costly for the manufacturers. I'd certainly want more specs on them, but quality wood (not particleboard) frame furniture with good coils or cushions will last a very long time. I just sold a nearly 20 year old couch for quite a lot of money that looked brand new.
