For some reason, I felt like discussing Furby. (Yeah, it is nearly 2AM. What?)

I had a classic Furby. Not sure if it's alive anymore. Anyone else?

My sister had a black and white Furby backpack if I remember correctly.

Cannon, the moderators got together and agreed that every member is allowed one drunken midnight post. You've just used yours.

I wasn't even drunk when this happened. Sorry guys.

Cannon, you don't have to apologize. I think that it's hilarious.

Never had a furby. Those were after my time (though not by much). Plus, frankly, they are totally creepy.

I was more in the era of Tamagotchi, Pogs, and Beanie Babies.

@Cannon- I just had an awesome flashback to when I worked in retail as a teenager when these first came out during the holiday season years ago. I have never seen adults act more like marauding looters when trying to get their hands on these for their kids. I seriously saw people stealing them out of one another's carts when they weren't looking.

I guess this will be on my daughter's Xmas list this year.

I was in third grade when these came out and I still don't get why they were a big deal.

@BenR- Yes, Pogs got plenty of my parents' money.
