    Nose hair

I'm reaching that age. Yanking them is an eye-watering experience. What's a better way?

trim them with safety scissors or nose trimmers you can find off amazon or ebay for less than $20

That's reasonable. And it's not going to turn my nose into a bloody mess? The concept seems terrifying!

I personally use scissors with rounded ends and work carefully. I rarely cut myself. Never tried the electric trimmers personally but they seem much better and safer than normal scissors. Maybe if i pick one up i'll let you know.

Not gonna lie, it's never comfortable. I wouldn't dream of yanking them out, but shoving something up your nose isn't exactly pleasant either; the motion of the small clipper moves hairs around just enough to tickle your nostrils. It feels a bit like inhaling black pepper, and I always have to try not to sneeze. But my girlfriend has some pen-shaped clipper that you basically shove up in there, rotate around a few times, and pull out. If your nostrils are dry, you can probably do both in about thirty seconds. I've seen the devices CVS and advertised in those As Seen On TV type commercials.

I used to have a small electric trimmer, but it seemed to pull at the hairs rather than cut them - now I just use a pair of fine-nosed (!!!) scissors to get the job done.

You're in SF now (??) surely there is somewhere in the Castro that does cosmetic nasal waxing?

And Caesar @ Groom comes highly recommended on yelp:

Nasal trimmers. I have these, no "tickling" for me, and they also work on ear hair.

Reaching that age? I'm 19 and have to deal with it. :/

But anyways, I've heard you should just try to get the visible stuff, as the hair is really there to help your immune system.
