Couple of good albums dropped this week and last:

Brand New "Science Fiction." Already a classic. Very mellow record. Whole album is on Youtube, but definitely worth buying, esp vinyl. Sounds like mid 90s alternative, mixed with the later album Brand New formula
Queens of the Stone Age "Villains." Real good boogie rock. Produced by Mark Ronson and you can tell, but still QOTSA rock and roll.
