"Hooray for Love" - Benny Goodman. Nothing beats good vinyl in my opinion

I'd love to make it to one of their Blowouts one day. And regarding the show here last year.... my wife and child came with me hahaha. I turned my wife on to them through Dessa, she was the gateway that got my wife onto P.O.S. She still doesn't really get Mictlan or Sims yet though.

@Scoope, yes sir. I get an incredible amount of exposure to DT and Rhymesayers here. It's pretty great. They really treat their MN fans well and make an effort to do a lot of affordable shows.

Also yes, after several DT shows I'm fairly certain I'd leave a wife and newborn child for a few hours haha

I already got my Blowout tickets (huge ridiculous end of the year show they do at the legendary First Ave). Super stoked.

@Greg - You're in Minnesota? Lucky! I saw DT out here in Denver last year, phenomenal. My son was 2 days old and my wife was still out of it from delivery. Some would say that's irresponsible, I say it was awesome.

@LakeCharles - Thanks. Forgot about Dusty Springfield, but I do check out lots of Nancy Sinatra frequently (James Bond's "You Only Live Twice" of course, and "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" are favorites). Del Rey once joked that she's a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra".

    And I'm currently back to:

@Cannon, check out Nancy Sinatra and Dusty Springfield for your blue-eyed soul needs.

And a good film score is the one to The Long Good Friday by Francis Monkman. Found here

For those who appreciate a good film score, this one is brilliant.

Michael McCann - Icarus (Main Theme)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiN6t7K7txw

Premiered with an excellently scored cinematic trailer, though it isn't actually a film. A rather Blade Runner-influenced trailer and title that is visually and musically impressive.

One of my favorite trailers of all time for its excellent and dark depiction of a future within reach and a brilliant score to fit it:

    "Deus Ex: Human Revolution":

@Scoope, yeah I knew someone had! The show was ridiculous. A lot of folks that collaborated on the album came out for songs. The whole DT crew was there too. It was nuts.

Also, it looks like the whole kidney thing should work out.

Can someone try suggesting songs that sound like the one I posted above? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4tDwPA0_ME&feature=endscreen

I'm addicted to it. Very smooth, plus the whole nostalgic lyrics thing gets to me.

    Also listening to:

    RE: P.O.S

You know I just posted about F**k Your Stuff about a page back, right? Anyway, they just set up a Kickstarter type thing for his healthcare costs and living expenses while he's not touring. They also said he's found several really good candidates, so it seems like the actual transplant is taken care of and now the focus is on money for the ongoing costs and prescriptions needed.
