Agreed. Chinese Democracy is...just...well...*sigh*, but Appetite for Destruction is a damned masterpiece. Lies is pretty great, too. I could take or leave the Use Your Illusions.

              Yes!

Unrelated, I just discovered Red Fang and I'm kind of obsessed.

If you like RF, make sure to check out The Sword and Graveyard (if you already haven't)

Anecdotal support for your statement: I live in Nashville and I'm quite familiar with a number of their songs (and like them too).

Interesting -- didn't realize they weren't more popular until these days. I'm east coast, not particularly up with music (rarely listen to the radio or discover new music via other non-super-popular sources), but have been listening to their stuff since Robbers & Cowards back in the mid-00s. Good to see them making it.

Shakey Graves - If Not For You (first song on the video). Excited to see him play in Dallas later this month, hopefully with his homemade suitcase kick drum in tow. Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_92Xo8qEA10

Thanks for the recommendations, but they don't do it for me. Red Fang is kind of an outlier from my normal taste. Somehow Red Fang tweaks my nipples like no other similar bands.

Also listening to The Bronx a lot https://youtu.be/Qf_ZgPmT2WI

And their alter-egos Mariachi El Bronx https://youtu.be/nKZbj_DP6Yo

And and, I can't believe I haven't mentioned this here yet, but please everyone check out The Ziggens. Their sound is probably more nostalgic at this point, but its kind of a surf punk thing. They were contemporaries of Sublime and came out of the Huntington Beach punk/ska/whatever scene a couple decades ago. They can do fast, slow, silly, or heartfelt. Awesome band that never made it big.

                                I like you.

I got the album sometime over the summer, and kept finding myself coming back to this song. I also really enjoy this performance of it:
