Dappered Dogs

Well I saw some love given out for a pup in the WIWT thread. So, being a dog lover/owner, I figured I would start a thread for everyone to show off their pups!

Here is Boo! She is a 5 year old pug that my fiancé rescued!

Here's my little guy (again), a 14-week schnauzer pup named Freddie:

My brother's 1-year lab/pit mix, Elsa, who I more or less fostered for a couple months earlier this year:

My parents' 13-year chow (possibly) mix, Sasha, who we rescued as a puppy when I was a high school sophomore:

Her "breed" name was also the inspiration for my SN. Prior to owning Sasha, I grew up with 3 (large, white) Great Pyrenees named Cactus, Olaf, and Beau.

Here is Otto (black one) and Choco (brown one). Otto is an American Staffordshire Terrier and Choco is a pit bull boxer mix. Both were recused and love sitting in front of the fire. Gas bill tripled this past month partly because of this.

        Meet Milo.
He is our 8 week old Frenchton (French Bulldog/Boston mix)
I just got him for my sons as an early Xmas present after our 14 year old Rat Terrier passed away recently.

This is my kind of thread! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Here's my right hand.

He's a real giant of a Shetland Sheepdog. He wound up growing to twice the size of his parents and siblings.

So I'm just going to need your home address ArtVandelay. Also, preferably hours when you won't be home. It will make it a lot easier to steal your dog.

                Too funny greg_s

I imagine you could get my address from the many databases that track all my online shopping.
At this point, I doubt he would put up much of a fight since he sleeps most of the time.

Seriously though, he is an awesome little dog and doesn't mind being in front of my camera (unlike my 6 & 8 year olds).

I cannot be appropriate about it. That is one cute fu*king dog. I thought my wife was going to die when I showed her. Sorry about the old pup, but congrats on the new one.

Thanks greg_s. My wife did just about die when I brought him home.

Honestly, we had a long run with our last dog and saw the end coming. Putting her to sleep was tough but the hardest thing was watching the kids deal with it.
It was the first time they ever had anyone close to them pass and I had to go through the whole death explanation with them.

Fast forward, they are all over this puppy and seem to only remember good times with their "ghost dog" as they call her now. Kids recover amazingly quick I have come to learn.

This pretty much just comes with living in Scotland, right? You move in, have a spare key made, set up the utilities, pick up your sheepdog...

Oh, geez. We take a lot of pictures so Roxy has 1981 cataloged pictures of just her, but this is one of my favorites. She's part Australian shepherd and part border collie. She's very smart, but without the hyperactivity that sometimes comes with herding breeds.

It's actually a visa requirement. They won't let you into the country without your sheepdog.
