    Selling Canali Blazer on Ebay

Hey all, selling a nice flip I found thrifting: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111030763630...84.m1555.l2649

I am new to ebay selling and know this listing kinda sucks. Any tips? Any idea what I can get for it?

Not bad I'd say. I'd think the main shot should be on a hanger, or person with head cropped out, but bonus points for having photos of all the labels. Might be worth adding measurements like shoulder seam to seam, length collar to tail, pit to pit. If it doesn't sell, relist with measurements, maybe offer money back returns less shipping (I get real suspicious when people don't). Good luck!

You can still go in and edit the listing. I'd add the measurements. It really does help when buying used online.

I'd also add a note at the bottom about you being a new seller and that you're legitimate even though you have no feedback (unless you're just looking to scam people!). Possibly offer returns with buyer-paid shipping to help ease the minds of any potential buyers.

Look around at other successfully sold sportcoats using the completed listings search and take listing ideas from those. Don't copy them, but use them as references to enhance your own listing.

Here's one of my recently sold listings:

You'll notice that my title is pretty much a jumble of keywords. Most successful sellers do this.

Thanks for all the tips guys, I realize the pictures suck but I only have a phone camera. I need to get some pics outside with more daylight. I will try to add measurements tonight

As jonATL said a lot of people will automatically pass on it with a feedback score of 0. Combined with sort of crummy pics and no measurements you're not going to get much for it. I'd consider an eBay consigner like LuxeSwap, which is run by SpooPoker from StyleForum. (http://www.luxeswap.com/) He always has great stuff and gets a lot of eyeballs. Even paying the commission I bet you'd end up with more $$$ in your pocket going with him than doing it yourself with no feedback. I've both bought from and sold with him and he's always been great.

Edit - Actually I take that back. I just looked at Spoo's completed listings for used Canali sport coats and there's just not much $$$ in them unless they are really nice (cashmere, etc.):

I wouldn't get your hopes too high.
