    Harry's Shaving Referral Chain Thread

This is a shaving razor made by the people behind Warbly Parker. I've seen it featured in GQ and I think in Maxim as well. The blades are $2 or less ($2 each if you buy 4, $1.56 each if you buy 16 with 8 and 12 options as well. The blades each have 4 blades on them, similar to the Schick Quattro. The handle can be had for $10 and comes in four different colors. You can get a set for $15 that includes the handle, 3 heads and a tube of their shave cream. There's also a nicer handle that runs for $10 more made of aluminum but it's probably not worth it. I have yet to use the product yet but I will report back when I get mine. I think I'll primarily be using this when I travel since I use double edge razors at home. Referrals net you 4 free blades so it's possible to shave for free minus the cost of the handle!

Just bought using your link! (Gotta return the favor for getting someone to bite on my Bespoke Post comment) Good reviews on the web and at $15 it's not a big investment, especially considering that I need to get some disposable razors and I'm all out of blades on my quattro.

How are these in relation to Dorco?

I prefer my safety and all, but in a hurry etc

I tried to use your link, @jeff4. Not sure it worked; it just took me right to the Harry's homepage and didn't say anything about it.

Anyway, here's my referral too: https://www.harrys.com/?ref=3b03fb2106

Didn't seem to get credit but no worries I referred my brother. Not even sure I'll like these yet and they'll be for travel anyway.

They aren't related to Dorco, there's a bunch of articles about them that I didn't feel like linking. Cost wise they are going to be between Dorco and the more popular brands like Gilette Mach 3, etc. Like I said in my post I grabbed these mostly for travel since I use a DE as well.

I meant how are they quality wise as the razors seems to be quite cheap too.

What is the advantage of purchasing these over a better known brand? Longevity? Price?

Hmm that's odd. When my brother ordered last night I got an email telling me I got credit instantly. I even checked the time of his order confirmation.

Price since they're cheaper than the mainstream Gillettes and Schicks. They do cost more than Dorco so I'd hope the quality is at least somewhere between Dorco and Gillette/Schick. I'll report back when mine come in. Longevity is will hard to quantify since it varies for everyone. My cartridge razors lasted forever since I don't shave every day and while my hair is thick my beard is not very full.

Slightly OT, but I use the Gillette Fusion blades (look very similar). Fresh blades are expensive and lose their efficacy very quickly. I use the jean sharpening method and it works surprisingly well.
