NMLC has a ridiculous deal on Walk-Overs right now. If you need a dirty buck for summer, they might be worth a look. The added color makes them a little less versatile, but if you're only paying $80 for Goodyear welted shoes (down from $235) then you can afford to have a little fun. Sizes are pretty limited but I bet local stores still have some left too.

First- my appologies if this has already been posted. Joe did a review of these last August and made the point that at the full retail, they may not be worth the cost but on sale at $129, they beat the Florshiems model which seems like the only comperable inexpensive wingtip boot out right now. Unfortunatley, the walnut version isn't on sale nor are they recraftable. I have a pair and think they are a good purchase if you want wingtip boot. The mahognay leather is a waxed leather so polishing doesn't appear to be an option opposed to the polished walnut version. I sized down from a 10 to a 9.5 and think I could have gone to a 9. I ordered online and didn't try them on in a store- if I had, maybe I would have gotten a 9. Shipping costs are high so a free shipping code would sweeten the deal.

Rider Boots are really top of the line products and Ron Rider is great to deal with. His now defunct Steals & Deals site was amazing! I still have 2 pairs of Paul Stuart branded shoes from there and my wife has a Paul Stuart bag. He's also the sole US distributor for Saphir products and really knows virtually everything about shoes.

LOL! I was all set to instakop those walnut shell boots if they had my size. I only have one pair of cordovan shoes (RL Marlow) and a cordovan boot has been on my wish list for a while. Oh well.

Gap slim fit canvas marked down 50% to $30. Just tried these on in store today and I think they are fantastic in both fit and look. Could be a business casual workhorse if the quality holds up.
