Well the 42 was too tight in the waist (slimmer than a 42 Ludlow), and the 44 was perfect everywhere except the collar gapped severely. Also, armholes are pretty low if that's something that bothers you (it bothers me). Super chopped as well. So if anyone is looking for a 42 or a 44, they will be making their way back in to the Lands' End system shortly, and my search continues.

I got my LE jacket yesterday. I had ordered a 46" and you're correct that it's slimmer than the Ludlow - The armholes feel pretty low to me as well and the sleeves sorta bunch by the elbow.

I plan to return the jacket unless someone on here wants to buy it off me for the $ I paid LE + shipping.

Warnings: This color has received mixed reviews, and the leather is supposed to be rough to break in. On the other hand, remember how everyone says "I love Iron Rangers, but that Nitrile cork sole is stupid - use leather, or use a vibrate lug"? This one has the Beckman Vibram lug sole.

oops, the nathans/boardrooms, ie the park/fifth avenues. google confirmed what my eyes told me...the 8 last is my favorite (not too stubby, not too point, just the right amount of sleek)
