Hmm. I wasn't sure if that was the case before. I hadn't bought anything off Lands End in a couple years until today.

I think you can for normal sale items, but this is in a special clearance section called "On the Counter." The items are listed Saturday, then they are further reduced every other day. So if you wait for the deepest discount, you risk your size going out of stock before then. Regardless, they are out of the 42 and 44 now.

There's no reviews on the sale page, but if you search the item number on the Lands' End website, it'll take you to the page that has reviews. I'm pretty sure I remember some Dappered members mentioning they own it. I've heard you need to size up and that it's a little chopped in the tail. I won't be surprised if I have to return both due to the length, but you never know until you try.

I normally wear a 38s jacket and the length on this jacket is perfect for me.

Kinda tight in the shoulders upper back if you got any muscle on you. For reference I usually wear 38s. I had to take back.

I bought a 42 and a 44 on Wednesday when they were $64 with the code. I didn't want to risk waiting until Friday in case they sold out. I guess I could order them now and just return the others, but that seems a little silly. I'm plenty happy with $64 for an all wool blazer.

Well the 42 was too tight in the waist (slimmer than a 42 Ludlow), and the 44 was perfect everywhere except the collar gapped severely. Also, armholes are pretty low if that's something that bothers you (it bothers me). Super chopped as well. So if anyone is looking for a 42 or a 44, they will be making their way back in to the Lands' End system shortly, and my search continues.

This Todd Snyder French Terry Barracuda jacket is $110 down from $275. It appears to be a mashup of a hoodie and a barracuda, but it looks pretty cool.



Is this a great find? I don't know, but I was tempted so thought I'd post it here... I decided against it just because I don't wear casual clothes very often, and I can't think of when I'd choose this as outerwear over some of the items I already have.
