STP is constantly running sales. I'd be more surprised if someone posted that there wasn't a sale at STP.

I agree. Free shipping with no minimum is my benchmark there, hopefully with 40% off.

I miss shopping at STP. For a while I was in the US often enough to have purchases shipped to the office there. Ridiculous shipping rates to Canada plus duty/taxes and extortionate UPS brokerage charges make it pointless, even with their 30-40% discounts.
I still check it out, but tbh I haven't seen anything to get excited about in some time. I think their purchase by TJX hasn't been a good thing.

Jumped all over those yesterday. These are my favorite "work slacks" bar none. For $40, its a steal. I was in need as well.

What is the fit like compared to the urban slim, 484 or some other line you can think of?

I have some urban slim chinos that are just a little baggy on the thighs for me. Will it being wool drape differently?

Ehh, just ordered navy, light and medium charcoal to get the sale price. Can always return. I searched and saw one comparison to BR Kentfield which I'm good with.

Bowery slim is my fave fit. Urban slim is just a tad too loose and 484 is just a tad too tight...I love those wool pants, absolutely perfect

Basically the same as the 484 tho the wool will indeed drape a little differently.

You talking about the bowery slim or classic? 484 I think of as skinny according to the description. The link is for the classic (straight leg, slim open).

                            Ah, sorry. Slim.

I am a fan of the classic fit. I like more of a straighter leg.

Paul Stuart is having a sale and these boots popped up. From discussion on another forum, these may be C&J Islay's for $428.75 made for PS. Worth a shot to pick up and see as people rave about these boots. It is tempting....
